A poem was once written by an unknown author called, Footsteps in the Sand. It was the story of a man having a dream of walking along the beach with the Lord. As he walked along the path of his life with the Lord, he noticed that occasionally only one set of footprints were left behind in the sand. He was able to determine that the single set of footprints was left during the most difficult and tempestuous times of his life. That bothered him, so he asked the Lord why He would abandon him during these lowest and saddest times of his life. The Lord answered simply by telling him that when he was going through his most difficult times of suffering and trial, the Lord had reached out His hand, and was carrying him, leaving only one set of footprints in the sand.

The storms of life rage all around us. We are people filled with anxiety and concern about what is going on around us, and for what the future holds for us as individuals, couples, and families. We seek answers to our problems, and we solicit counsel from those who are equally as confused as we are. For the most part, the counsel and answers we receive to our problems end up being as trees with no fruit, and clouds with no rain.

The Hand in the Storm reaches the merciful and compassionate hand of God right into the storms of life by pointing individuals to the resurrected Lord Jesus Christ through His Word, the Bible, and leading them to faith and salvation in Him. It is our sincere desire that people all around the world would see Jesus Christ as their Savior and Messiah; as mentioned throughout the Bible. “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
